Two robbers target mum in the street

At around 12.30pm on Wednesday, February 5, a 28-year-old woman was walking along a footpath off Birchwood Road, near Cotes Industrial Park, pushing a pram when she was approached by two men.

One of the men grabbed her handbag from her shoulder. The victim struggled to try to keep hold of her bag and fell to the floor.

The men ran off with the bag, which was later found dumped nearby.

Both men were white. One was around 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build, in his 20s or 30s and wearing a dark padded jacket and hooded jumper.

The other man was slightly taller and wearing dark clothing with a hood.
