Two people arrested in Sutton on suspicion of funding terrorism are bailed
Two people arrested in Sutton in connection with raising money for terrorists have been released on police bail.
Officers from the North East Counter Terrorism Unit and Nottinghamshire Police arrested a 19 year-old man and a 43 year-old woman at an address in the town on Thursday 5th June.
The man was arrested in connection with fundraising for terrorism, financing terrorism, fraud, acquiring criminal property and transferring criminal property.
The woman was arrested in connection with financing terrorism, acquiring criminal property and transferring criminal property.
