Two hospitalised after Bolsover crash.

Two people were taken to hospital on Sunday following a collision on a road in the Bolsover area.

Fire crews from Bolsover and Mansfield fire stations attended the incident at around 10.30am in Carter Lane.

The incident involved two cars and crews were at the scene until around 2.20pm. The air ambulance was also scrambled.

Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to free one of the drivers, who was trapped in his vehicle.

One person was taken to hospital by ambulance, while a second was conveyed by air ambulance. The condition of both casualties is not known.
