Two appear in court over Mansfield bicycle theft

Jamie Moore, 31 whose address was given as Nottingham Prison pleaded guilty to stealing the £250 bicycle which had been parked outside West Notts College on 6th June.

Moore, who appeared in custody at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday was given a 28-day sentence to run concurrently with a 16-week sentence he was already serving.

Samantha Jade Dixon, of Pepper Street, Sutton, admitted handling stolen goods. Police had later found the bicycle at her address.

Dixon, the mother of Moore’s two children, was given a conditional discharge, with £85 costs.
