Trust donates £750 towards holiday fund

A young Mansfield lad with a rare brain disorder is a step closer to having the holiday of a lifetime thanks to the generosity of fundraisers in the town.

Joshua from Forest town faces an eight hour brain operation and his family want to take him on hooliday before his operation in Sheffield in September.

The Peaceful Uhuru Trust based in Mansfield has raised £750 to bring the grand total raised so far to £4,400.

Assistant Trustee Elaine Kinsella said: “After hearing about Joshua’s circumstances and the wishes of his family to have a holiday together The Peaceful Uhuru Trust were pleased to offer support to Joshua and family.

“The Board of Trustees felt that Joshua and family would indeed benefit from the support.

“It was with great pleasure that all the Board of Trustee approved a £750 contribution towards the holiday fund.”

“Joshua and family have best wishes from The Peaceful Uhuru Trust.”

Tina said; “Elaine saw my plea for help and asked the Uhuru Trust to raise funds for me. It was really kind of her.”
