Tributes paid to much loved fundraiser
Family and friends have paid tribute to Andrew Bott, chairman of King’s Mill Kidney patient’s Association, (KMKPA) who died on July 25.
Mr Bott who lived at Edwinstowe died at King’s Mill Hospital following a long illness.

Hide AdHe is survived by his partner Ann Monger two children and seven grandchildren.
Mr Bott launched the KMKPA in 2003, which was adopted by the Chad as its charity, eventually raising £220,000 for kidney units at King’s Mill Hospital.
Ms Monger said: “Andrew was a loving, gentle and charming person.
“As a retired electrical engineer he always believed if there was a problem there was a solution. He remained positive to the end”

Hide AdVolunteer Christine Aspinall said:” The KMKPA’s achievement was all due to Andrew’s dedication, hard work, inspiration and enthusiasm.
“Kings Mill Dialysis Unit has a lot to thank Andrew for as he was a very special person. “His attitude to his medical conditions was so positive. Nothing phased Andrew - he was such an he was such an inspiration to all who met him.”
