Tributes paid to Mansfield woman who died at caravan site

Tributes have been paid to a woman who died at a Mansfield caravan site.

Lisa Butler, 48, died on Tuesday after an incident at Tall Trees Caravan Park on Old Mill Lane in Forest Town.

Her uncle Richard Thompson, 66, of Old Mill Lane Lane, also died at the scene.

Two people found dead at a Mansfield caravan park identifiedPolice had been called to the area at around 10pm on Tuesday night by paramedics. Ambulance crews treated Lisa and Richard but both were sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation into the deaths is underway but police said they believe it was an isolated incident and are not looking for anyone else in connection with it.

Detective Inspector Rich Monk, who is leading the investigation, said: "Our investigation will continue to establish the full circumstances and we are liaising with the family to offer them support following this tragic incident."
