Tree work at King’s Mill res

CONSERVATION work is to take place to some willow trees at King’s Mill Reservoir, near Sutton.

The work is being carried out by Ashfield District Council and conservation charity, British Trust for Conservation Volunteers, to help improve the environment for bird species like willow tit.

Other work taking place at the reservoir include footpath improvements to enhance access for visitors.

Said council chairman, May Barsby: “As a council we are constantly seeking to improve our green spaces for the benefit of our residents and visitors.”
