Travellers at Oak Tree Leisure Centre issued notice to leave the site tomorrow
Travellers pitched up at an illegal encampment outside Oak Tree Lane Leisure Centre have been issued with a court order to leave the site by 8am tomorrow (December 11).
A spokeswoman for the council said: "Mansfield District Council is working closely with Mansfield District Leisure Trust to co-ordinate action regarding travellers at Oak Tree Leisure Centre.
"Notice has been issued and the travellers have until 8am tomorrow (Wednesday 12 December) to leave the site."
The travellers have been on the site since December 6.
Travellers have also recently pitched up at Sherwood Forest, Vicar Water, Rufford country park, Sherwood Oaks Business Park, Ransom Wood, Sutton Lawn, and Strawberry Bank recreation ground.
