Travel News: Wednesday afternoon rush hour

Motorists can expect minor delays while driving in Mansfield town centre this afternoon, with slight delays on St Peter’s Way and queuing traffic on the A60 Woodhouse Road.

Rosemary Street is also beginning to look busy heading into the Wednesday tea time rush hour.

Sherwood Street in Mansfield Woodhouse is currently experiencing stationary traffic, causing delays of up to five minutes.

The M1 through Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire is looking slow through the roadworks section - from junction 28 to junction 30 - in both directions.

A fuel spillage on the M1 southbound between junctions J29 and J28, is causing extra delays and congestion due to one lane being closed.

Traffic in Derby Road, Annesley is also beginning to build up.
