There are a number of roadworks in the area which are likely to cause delay or disruption to motorists.

These include:

Weighbridge Road, Brook Park, Shirebrook, where Severn Trent are carrying out work to connect water pipes.

There are temporary traffic lights in place during the work, which is scheduled to last until Friday, April 10, and likely to cause delays.

Western Power are carrying out work on the A6117, Oak Tree Lane, in Mansfield.

This includes trenching work on the footpath and road, with incursion onto the highway leading to possible delays.

It is due to last until April 24.

Nottinghamshire County Council is carrying out repair work on the A611 Derby Road in Kirkby.

The work, which started this week and is due to run until May 8th, includes the use of two-way traffic lights which is likely to have a high impact on traffic flow and cause delays.

This week sees the scheduled end of work by Western Power on the A611 Derby Road, Annesley Woodhouse.

Work here began in February but is due to end on Friday.

Multi-way traffic signals have been in place while the work has been carried out.

Work started this week on highways improvements at Common Road, Huthwaite.

The work began on Tuesday and Nottinghamshire County Council, who are carrying out the work, say it is dues to last until April 30.

They say that multi-way traffic signals are likely to have a high impact and cause delays for motorists.
