M1 CRASH LIVE: Traffic updates as police close M1 near Sheffield after serious collision

Part of the M1 in South Yorkshire is closed this morning due to a serious collision.

Emergency services are dealing with a smash on the southbound stretch between Junction 31 for Aston and 32 for the M18.

A diversion in in place, and drivers are being advised to leave the M1 at J33.

Road users on the M18 are advised to take the M1 north until J33 and then follow the diversion.
