The crash took place around 8.40am today (February 13) on the A38 northbound towards J28 on the M1.
Derbyshire roads policing unit confirmed that minor injuries were suffered as a result of the crash, and that recovery services are en-route to the scene of the incident.
Drivers are best to avoid the area of possible.
