Crash triggers lane closure on M1 near Mansfield

Highways England say one of four lanes is currently closed on the northbound carriageway this morning (Thursday, October 8) after an accident between J28 for Mansfield and J28 for Heath.

It is not yet known if anyone has been hurt in the incident or how many vehicles were involved.

The authority added there was ‘some congestion’ on approach.

The incident is expected clear between 10.55am and 11am.
