Allegro has taken on a new Euro 6 tractor unit from local Renault trucks distributor RH Commercial Vehicles (RHCV), who are themselves based at Cotes Park Commercials which is on Clover Nook Road.

Andrew Litchfield, Managing Director at Allegro, commented on the new addition to the fleet, “We have been running Mercedes trucks for well over 30 years,” he said. “But with this new truck we wanted a vehicle that adhered to the Euro 6 legislation that recently came into force.”

“As a business we have known RHCV for years, but it was their new site, Cotes Park Commercials, around the corner from us in that tipped the balance in favour of a Renault truck.

“Having a neighbour maintain and service our new truck will certainly be simpler.”

Allegro Transport is located minutes away from RHCV’s 64,000sq ft site in Alfreton, which the company purchased almost 12 months ago.

Paul Pearson, director at RHCV, said: “We are thrilled to be working with Allegro, especially as we are introducing them to our new Euro 6 range.”

“Expanding our footprint with the Alfreton branch was a great decision.”
