Traffic instructors rev up for Big Learner Relay with two events in Mansfield and Ashfield
Eight driving instructors from the Ashfield and Mansfield area are revving up for this year’s Big Learner Relay on November 3.
They will be taking part in the Big Learner Relay as part of a countrywide fundraising drive for Children in Need.
Before they take part in the Nottingham leg on November 3, they have organised two fundraising events to warm things up.

Hide AdDriving instructor Martin Shepherd said: “We raised £3,000 last year and hopefully we will beat that. It’s a great cause.”
On October 10 they will be at the Mansfield FC home match, offering fans a chance to sponsor a ‘spot’ on a car.
On Saturday October 24 they will be at Sutton Market near the sundial, and a prize draw with prizes including free driving lessons and a huge chocolate cake covered in Smarties.
