TRAFFIC blocked on main Nottinghamshire road after tree falls

Drivers are being warned about heavy traffic in Bilsthorpe after a tree has fallen onto a main road.

Police are warning people to drive carefully after a large tree was taken down by winds on the A614 Old Rufford Road earlier today (December 30).

Officers are in attendance and the road is expected to re-open shortly.

This is one of several trees affected by the storm today, causing traffic chaos around Nottihnghamshire.
