Two lanes of M1 closed and traffic building after accident near Mansfield junction
Two lanes are currently closed on the northbound carriageway of the M1 due to an accident.
The lanes are closed between J29 (Mansfield / Chesterfield) and J29a for Bolsover.
The scene isn’t expected to be cleared until 5pm.
Traffic is building in the area, and emergency services are en route to the scene.
The accident is causing congestion at the northbound entry slip at junction J29, which Highways England say is adding around ten minuutes to journey times.
