The M1 southbound at junction 25 has reopened following a two-vehicle collision just before 6.45am today.
The crash involved a lorry and a car.
No injuries have been reported.
Traffic is still heavy in the area, with motorists facing delays of up to an hour, and six miles of tailbacks.
Highways England are advising motorists to allow plenty of time for your journey this morning, and consider alternative routes.
