Family pays tribute to 12-year-old boy killed in Kirklington crash
Oliver Armstrong suffered serious head injuries in the crash on Corkhill Lane on Saturday December 1 and was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham. But he sadly died on Tuesday (December 11).

Hide AdOliver lived with his family in Louth in Lincolnshire and they have now paid tribute to him.
His sister Cerys said: "Oli was a lovely, caring, funny, cheeky young lad that was loved by all.
"As a family, we would like to say a huge thank you to the staff at Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham, specifically those working within the Paediatric Critical Care Unit which treated and looked after Oli.“The staff were absolutely incredible, both the doctors and nurses deserve recognition for their services. They all went above and beyond their duties.

Oli leaves behind his mother Alison Welby, stepdad Mark Wain, sister Cerys Meredith, 20, and brother Riaan Armstrong, 13.
Friends and family of Oliver are planning to meet up on Monday and release balloons in his memory.
Nottinghamshire Police issued an appeal at the time of the crash, asking anyone with any information to call 101, quoting incident number 198 of December 1, 2018.
