MANSFIELD Rotary Club is preparing for a third clean-up day at Berry Hill Park on Saturday ahead of the family music concert in September.
Already hundreds of people have volunteered their time at two Chad-backed clean-up days in April and June which have transformed the park.
Now the public are being asked to again back the project, ahead of the concert - the second major community event to be staged at the ‘new look’ park.
A spokesman for the Rotary Club said that anyone who would like to take part in Saturday’s clean up and has not registered must contact the Club beforehand.
He added: “Anybody who would like to come along, we need a phone call or an email. If they’re going to come and work on the park, for insurance purposes we have to register their details.”
Saturday’s clean up takes place from 9am-4pm. Anyone who would like more details should contact Mansfield Rotary Club on Mansfield 706540 or email email@example.com.
The Back to the 60s and 70s Legends in the Park music concert takes place on Saturday 3rd September. Visitors to the six-hour music extravaganza will be able to take their own alcohol into the park, but refreshments will also be available.
Tickets cost £12 via See Tickets on 0871 231 0829 or from from Chad receptions and Martin Wilkinson Jewellers on Queen Street. Gates wll be open on the night at 4pm.
