Amour Sumagaysay, from the Excelsior School of Dance in Mansfield Woodhouse, claimed top spot in both the Under 8 Freestyle and Under 8 Slow Dance categories at the annual Dancelines Eurodance Finals at Brean Sands, Somerset.
Competing against youngsters from across the UK, Ireland and Norway, Amour also scooped the ‘Winner of Winners’ award, which earned her and her dance teacher Angela Stirland an all-expenses paid trip to Disneyland, Paris.
Angela said: “She might only be seven, but Amour is always practising.
“She really understands what it takes to be the best and works her socks off to make it happen.”
Earlier this year Amour danced her way onto the shortlist for Sky One’s TV show, ‘Got to Dance’, where her 90 second routine earned her three gold stars from the celebrity judges.
But it was fellow Excelsior dance student Luke Mann (14), who eventually made it through to the televised live finals
