Teenager caught with drugs in nightclub
A teenager found carrying cannabis at a nightclub has been ordered to pay out £255 by magistrates.
Guy Anthony Bacon, 18, of Albion Street, Mansfield, was searched by staff at Rewind on Clumber Street at around 3.30am on January 17, and found to have less than £5 of the drug in his possession.
Under interview by police, he told them it was for his own personal use, used cannabis every day but denied having a dependency problem.
Appearing before Mansfield Magistrates’ Court, he admitted a charge of possessing the class B drug.
He was fined £150, told to pay £85 court costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
