Teenage motorcyclist injured in Mansfield town centre collision

Part of Rosemary Street in Mansfield town centre was closed this morning after a teenage motorcyclist suffered serious injuries following a collision with a car.

The RTC happened just before 3am this morning (Friday 17th May) at the junction with Walkden Street.

Police closed Rosemary Street between St John Street and Union Street and it was not reopened until around 9am.

The motorcyclist, a 19-year-old man, sustained serious but not life threatening injuries in the collision and has been taken to Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre for treatment.
