The 16 and 17-year-olds are taking part in the National Citizen Service through West Nottinghamshire College and have been doing both residential and community-based activities.

One group cycled the equivalent of 300 miles on exercise bikes at Sutton’s Lammas Leisure Centre for their social action project, while another group clocked up 200 miles in a rowing machine relay challenge for The Halls Homeless Support Project in Mansfield and the Forestry Commission.
