Tasty treats boost Portland College’s £2m fundraising appeal

Supporters of Portland College’s Pudding Club served up a very tasty fundraising figure to raise funds for the college’s new £2m fundraising campaign.

The 130 pudding fans that attended the event treated themselves to an evening full of puddings, custard and entertainment and raised £1,400 to go towards the Nottingham Road college’s ambitious plans to develop a state-of-the-art centre for disability sports.

The Pudding Club was organised by the college’s Hospitality Manager, Rachael Hensleigh, who said: “We are always really well supported by the wider College community and people from the local area, and once again the function rooms were packed to the rafters at our largest Pudding Club event to date.”

Andrea Hudson, who is one of the campaign fundraisers, added: “The money raised is a superb amount. Thank you to our generous supporters and to our marvellous catering team for putting on a very appetising event once again.”
