Thea Avison, 39, who teaches children in Foundation stage two and music said she has been “blown away” by the amount of donations the children have brought in.

She said: “We have had such a good response from the children. They have gone through their wardrobes to give away what didn’t fit or what they don’t wear - they have been so driven.

The clothes are going to be sent to Nottinghamshire charity Sharewear Clothing Scheme which provides emergency clothing, shoes and bedding to people Nottinghamshire currently in crisis.
