SUTTON Rambling Club is set to complete its summer programme with a ramble on the southern edges of the White Peak around the Tissington area of Derbyshire on Sunday.
Organisers say there will be a choice of two circular walks with 11 or eight-mile options and the day will include picturesque scenery and the chance to take a break and enjoy the countryside.
The walk starts on the edge of Alsop Moor and takes in part of the Tissington Trail.
A spokesman for the group said: “This would be an ideal introductory walk for new members with a choice of distances, healthy exercise, attractive scenery and friendly company.”
A coach will leave the Staff of Life pub on Hack Lane in Sutton at 9.15am and then the Bancroft Lane end of Stockwell Gate (near Asda) in Mansfield at 9.30am. There are other pick up points en route.
The coach fare is £9 and accompanied juniors are free. There is no necessity to prebook your seat on the coach.
