SUTTON: Police officer charged with computer misuse
A serving Ashfield police officer has been charged with 17 offences in relation to the Computer Misuse and Data Protection Acts, Nottinghamshire Police have confirmed.
Response officer PC Kelly Hinds, 29, based at Sutton, is alleged to have used police systems to access information to commit the offences between 2009 and 2013.
She has been suspended and bailed to appear at Nottingham Magistrates Court on Thursday 30th January.
