Sutton man charged with manslaughter

A Sutton man has been charged with manslaughter after another man died following an altercation near an industrial estate in Tibshelf.

At around 5pm on Friday a fight took place on land near an industrial estate on Sawpit Lane.

A 39-year-old man suffered serious head injuries and was taken to Chesterfield and North Derbyshire Royal Hospital.

Jacek Golubek was pronounced dead on Saturday morning.

Grzegorz Betleja (29), of Alfreton Road, has been charged with manslaughter and will appear before magistrates in Chesterfield today (Monday).

Detectives are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
