SUTTON: Hells Angels leader honoured

Hells Angels' Ashfield charter president Neil Mott, who has died.

Neil Mott, 53, of Sutton, died suddenly of a stroke last week having served in his position for ten years and been a member for 20 years.

Mr Mott organised trips all over the world, particularly to Europe.

“He was a brilliant bloke,” said vice president Lee Smith.

“He loved riding a bike from a very young age and you’ve no idea how much he will be missed by everyone.

“He loved body building and keeping fit, so this came very much out of the blue.

“Because of the activities he sorted out and took part in, he was known around the world and that’s why people will be travelling far and wide for his funeral.”

Among the countries likely to be represented will be the USA, Australia, Holland, Germany, Italy, France, Portugal, Denmark and Belgium.

Motorcyclists other than those in the Hells Angels are also expected to attend and remember Mr Mott, who was described as a ‘born leader’ by Mr Smith.

The funeral procession will start at The Hells Angels Ashfield clubhouse, Shoulder of Mutton, Blackwell Road, Huthwaite at about 10am on Friday 11th April and will proceed to the cemetery on Huthwaite Road, Sutton.
