SUTTON CRASH: Police issue appeal for witnesses

Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed a serious collision in Sutton-in-Ashfield in the early hours of this morning.

A car collided with a lorry at the junction between Skegby Lane and Kings Mill Road East just before 2am.

A man suffered serious injuries and is being treated at Queens Medical Centre.

Officers are particularly interested in speaking to the owner of a light coloured car that pulled up at the traffic lights and may have seen what happened.
