It's the song that youngsters are obsessed with, and we can't get it out of our heads.
The choir at St Mary Magdalene Parish Church in Sutton in Ashfield decided to take a break from traditional hymns, and instead perform the viral children's song.
Since BBC Radio Nottingham released the song on their Facebook Page the song has had over 600,000 views and has become an internet sensation.
Members of the choir said it was such fun to perform and the video has brought a smile to many faces.
John Bullock, organist and choirmaster was surprised by its success.
He said: “Whilst not the usual repertoire of a church choir, it’s certainly fun to perform and has been very well received around the world.
"BBC Radio Nottingham got in touch with me about another video, and then suggested the idea of preforming baby shark.
"We never thought it would be as successful as it was, we've had comments from all over the world, and it's certainly a talking point."
The video was produced by David Jackson, the BBC Radio Nottingham presenter.
The catchy tune has so far managed to rack up more than two billion views on YouTube.
