A Sutton man accused of having thousands of child porn images and hundreds of indecent videos has been spared jail.

Harold Mosley of Outram Street, who appeared at Caenarfon Crown Court, admitted 16 counts of making and possessing child porn and having extreme porn on computer equipment after police searched his former address in Old Colwyn, North Wales in January last year.

He was ordered to attend an Internet sex offenders’ treatment programme and banned for thee years from unsupervised contact with children without approval from his supervising probation officer unless it was inadvertant.

Mosley, 55 has to register as a sex offender for five years and was made to pay £80 costs.
