Super salon is visited by some stars

He was special guest at Hair and Beauty at Slimming World, based on site at the company’s head office on Clover Nook Road.

The site has benefited from a complete update and renovation this summer and, as well as welcoming Brian, the staff have played host to Coronation Star Samia Ghadie and Olympic boxer Luke Campbell.

Hair and Beauty at Slimming World drew the celebrities when they were visiting Slimming World’s Head Office to meet slimmers taking part in the company’s national competitions.

Brian was there to congratulate the 58 women who reached the semi-finals of the organisation’s biggest competition in its annual calendar, Slimming World Woman of the Year.

Salon manager Victoria Hallam said: “Nicola and I were both big Westlife fans when we were younger so it was a bit of a teenage dream come true to meet Brian. He was very charming and seemed really impressed by the salon – like most of the celebrities who have visited us.”
