Students bring a little razzamataz to the stage

Scores of talented youngsters took to the stage to present a showcase of singing and dancing.

The Palace Theatre, Mansfield, come to life as 180 students from Razzamataz theatre school Mansfield presented their annual showcase ‘A Razzical Mystery Tour!’, which featured children aged four to 17 in a variety of numbers including musical theatre, street dance and pop singing.

Meanwhile, long term Razzamataz student Holly Leigh was unable to join her friends this year as she has just finished the two week run of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at The Theatre Royal, Nottingham.

The 11-year-old from Mansfield said: “Being in Chitty was the best experience ever!

“I have learned so much from working with such amazing people in a fantastic show.”

The touring production, which has received five star reviews, stars Lee Mead, Carrie Hope Fletcher and Michelle Collins.

The staff at Razzamataz are very proud of all their students and would like to congratulate all.
