Students are a cut above in prestigious hairdressing finals
Hairdressing students from five regional colleges took part in the finals of the Francesco Spotlight cut and colour competition final at West Nottinghamshire College's Revive training and commercial hair salons.
The final featured nine competitors putting their skills to the test, vying for the top prize of three days’ work placement at Francesco Group Academy in Stafford.
Karen Albrighton represented West Nottinghamshire College, creating an eye-catching red colour to long hair with waves.
Sharna Stevens from Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher Education, was the overall winner.
