'Stolen bike' involved in two car collision in Sutton

A driver of a 'stolen bike' left the scene of a collision involving the bike and two other cars before police arrive.

Police were called to Huthwaite Road, Sutton, at around 2.10pm yesterday (Sunday April 8) where the bike and two cars had collided.

A spokeswoman from Nottinghamshire Police said: "The bike rider left the scene before officers arrived. He is described as white and was wearing a dark grey padded jacket, grey jogging bottoms and Nike trainers. It's also said he suffered an injury to his hand and right leg. No one else was seriously injured in the crash."

The bike is believed to be a blue Yamaha bike stolen from a driveway in Main Street, Awsworth overnight on Tuesday May 30 last year.
