Still time to win top prizes in Chad photo competition

THERE is still time to enter our fantastic new photo competition - and win some excellent canvas prizes into the bargain.

Chad has teamed up with Sutton’s The Vector Studio for the launch of our new contest, which this year is asking What is the meaning of life?

That is the theme of our brand new Young Photographer of the Year 2011 competition, which is looking to find the next generation of photographers across Mansfield and Ashfield.

Our contest is open to anyone across the district who thinks they have a keen eye for a sparkling image and an idea of what being young is all about.

Pictures need to capture what it is like to be youthful in our area and can be anything from a day out with friends, events at your local sports or school club or family events.

The contest, open to anyone aged 17 years-old and under, follows on from last year’s successful competition, which was won by Sutton teen Alex Sweetmore’s image of a colourful flower and a bee going about its work.

And Chad has once again teamed up with The Vector Studio, which is based at 81 Fackley Way, Sutton, to offer a fantastic set of prizes - with the winner picking up a 30 x 20 inch canvas print of their winning image.

The second placed entrant will pick up a 20 x 16 inch canvas, with the third placed finalist collecting a 16 x 12 image.

Brian Slaney, owner of The Vector Studio, said: “As well as being an excellent gift idea, turning your favourite photo into a canvas art print can make it the focal point of your home.”
