Still time for cash prize entry

The Chad have teamed up with Vodaphone to offer the great prize to celebrate the phone shop’s new store at the Idelwells Centre.

Cash can be used to help fund new kit for a football team, a soup kitchen that needs a new oven, or to create a community flower garden.

It is free to enter and all you have to do to nominate a group is simply email your nomination, setting out why they are a deserving cause, why they need the money and what difference it will make to them to [email protected].

The group should be a local charity club or group that makes a significant impact on the local community – it cannot be a personal or individual plight, nor a government funded organisation, such as

a school. The award must also be for a specific project or purpose, rather than just to cover operating costs.

The group should be a local charity and it must be stand alone rather than form any part of a larger contribution or bigger appeal. The Chad and Vodafone store staff will judge the entries from a shortlist of five when we will announce the lucky winner and present them with a £1000 cheque.
