Oscar nominee and Bafta award winning actor Steve Coogan will be in Ashfield tomorrow to back MP Gloria De Piero at a pre-election rally.
The film and TV star will pay a visit to the area and speak to over 100 Labour Party members, friends and supporters at the rally and the event.
Steve will chat about his career to date and how he made it without any connections or privilege and folk will also have the chance to hear about the central role he played in the Leveson Inquiry into press standards and he will take some questions too.
He began his career in the 1980s as voice artist on Spitting Image. He went to create characters including Alan Partridge and Paul Calf and has starred in many films, including Night at the Museum, Tropic Thunder, the voice of Silas Ramsbottom in Despicable Me 2 and most recently wrote and starred in Philomena opposite Dame Judi Dench and The Trip with Rob Brydon.
