Stars visit Mansfield for comedy festival

A variety of TV comedians are set to play shows in Mansfield as part of the Nottingham Comedy Festival.

The event, which runs from 19th to 27th September, will play host to over 60 shows across 18 different venues throughout Nottinghamshire.

Holly Walsh, star of the BBC comedy panel show Mock The Week and Xtra Factor presenter Matt Richardson will play the Create Theatre on Derby Road on Wednesday, 24 September at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £15 and a group pass, which admits four people, is priced at £44.

Showbiz veteran Jimmy Tarbuck is set to bring his nostalgic show to the town’s Palace Theatre, also on Wednesday, 24th September at 7.30pm. Tickets for his show costs £20.50 and £18.96 for concessions.

Funnyman Tony Jameson also brings his Football Manager-themed show to the Create Theatre on Saturday, 27th September, with tickets priced at £10 and £8 for concessions.

Comedic duo Jarred Christmas and Craig Murray will showcase their talents at the Il Rosso restaurant on Nottingham Road on Tuesday, 23rd September at 8.30pm, with tickets costing £22.
