Stalls needed for Heritage Open day

Mansfield District Council is looking for craft stall traders to take up places at a Heritage Open Day in the town.

Heritage Open Days celebrates England’s history, architecture and culture, offering people the chance to see hidden places and try new experiences.

Mansfield, events will be run by Mansfield Museum and in the market place on Saturday September 12, from 10am – 2pm along with a craft market.

Coun David Smith, said: “Heritage Open Days have become an increasingly popular part of the cultural calendar and is likely to attract a large number of visitors to the town centre. It is an excellent trading opportunity for people who make and sell arts and crafts.”

Mansfield Museum will host various fun craft and Lego activities for children with an architectural focus. It will also be relaunching the Mansfield Heritage Trail highlighting the town’s well known and hidden architectural gems. Bridge Street Methodist Church, the Old Meeting House Unitarian Chapel and St Peter and St Paul’s Church will also be open. To book a stall, call 01623 463818.
