Stags support cycle safety day for kids
Police joined forces with Mansfield Town Football in the Community and the county council for a cycle safety event last week.
Staff gave 25 young people the chance to test out their cycle safety skills at the event, which took place at Quarry Lane where the club provide football sessions and school holiday activities for young people aged six to 14 years.
Kathleen Faulconbridge from Nottinghamshire Police said: ““As the nights draw in and the weather turns wintery it is really important that children cycling to school are aware of the road safety lessons that could prevent injury and save lives.”
