Stags players present pupils with awards

The awards evening, arranged by Teachers UK, took place at the John Fretwell Centre and saw an array of students rewarded for their attitude to learning and achievements across many subjects and disciplines.

Special guests on the night were Jamie McGuire and Rhys Bennett, of Mansfield Town Football Club, who presented the awards.

Students Crystal Campbell and Ryan Guy were just two of those who were honoured on the night.

Sandra Mayfield, of Teachers-UK, an education recruitment specialist based at Mansfield’s I- Centre on Hamilton Way, said that the organisation had been delighted to play a role in the evening.

She said: “Teachers UK was proud to sponsor Meden School awards evening. 

“The awards avening highlighted the talents and overall performance and achievements of Meden students and it was certainly a pleasure for us to provide two first team Mansfield Town players as VIP guests for the event who assisted the head teacher in presenting the awards to students.”
