Specsavers renew sponsorship for Ashfield food bank

The store sponsored the charity by providing rebranded artwork, including a logo, letterheads and leaflets that will be distributed by volunteers.

The foodbank, previously owned by the Ashfield Voluntary Action, will now be managed by the Magdalene Centre.

Collected food is distributed by the Framework organisation to 100 needy people every Friday.

Store director Nigel Davidson said: “The foodbank is great local cause to help as it serves people in need in our town during these tough times.”
