Special Olympics skaters handed charity cash

Coaches at the Lammas Ice Skating Club presented a cheque to two members who will be representing Great Britain at the Special Olympics World Winter Games.

Fundraising events to enable Meg McFarlane and Callum Mills to compete at the games in Graz, Austria in March, have been held over the last six months with skaters wearing their pyjamas to training, raffles and more.

Meg and Callum have been selected to represent Great Britain as part of a team of ten figure skaters and 11 skiers.
