SOUTH NORMANTON: Two people charged in connection with murder
Two people have been charged in connection with the murder of a man in South Normanton.
Leon Lockhart, 31, and Michaela Griffiths, 24, from South Normanton, have been charged with murdering 32-year-old Daniel Baker on Friday.
They will appear before magistrates in Chesterfield today.
Mr Baker, from Derby, was discovered collapsed at 11.35pm in Mansfield Road by passers-by. He was taken to King’s Mill Hospital but was certified dead on arrival.
A post-mortem examination revealed he died from a stab wound.
