Solicitors are helping refugee crisis
Mansfield solicitors Forrest Williams have become a drop off point for aid for the Calais refugee crisis.
Senior partnr Katie Forrest said: “We will be collecting aid that will be forwarded on to Calais for the refugee camps. Our first shipment will leave later this month.
“We are asking everyone to give what they can to support those who are in desperate need – men, women and children who have fled their homes in awful circumstances and now need absolute life essentials.
Particularly neede are blankets, clothes, toiletries and personal hygiene items toothbrushes, soap, , baby care items (nappies, wipes, etc) and survival items such as torches.
Donations can be made Monday to Friday 9am-5pm in room 27 of the Mansfield iCentre, Hamilton Way, Mansfield, NG18 5BR.
