Skegby man killed in Lincoln RTC

A Skegby man has been killed following a road traffic collision in Lincolnshire on Friday (9th May).

Lincolnshire Police have named the man as 41-year-old Brent Waterhouse.

He was the driver of a lorry or truck which was in collision with a car pulling a caravan and another car on the A46 by-pass in Lincoln on Friday at around midday.

The incident happened on the stretch of road between Pennell’s roundabout and the new Whisby Road roundabout, near the Pride of Lincoln.

The cars involved were a Peugeot 407 and a Fiat 500.

There were no other serious injuries to those involved.

Mr Waterhouse was treated by the air ambulance and taken to Lincoln County Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
